The match between Pembroke and Marsa was played on the 3rd of February.

This match was fairly balanced with Pembroke being a little bit better, In fact after 20 minutes Pembroke took the lead, when Lilian Cremona placed the ball on the left hand side of Marsa`s goalkeeper Rednee Zerafa to give Pembroke a 1-0 lead.

In the 26th minute Marsa tried to equalise but were denied by Pembroke`s goalkeeper Ruth Debono.

The equalizer was in fact not far off, as in the 28th minute marsa won a corner which was delivered just outside Pembroke`s penalty area and Marsa`s striker managed to equalise with a good lob. So the first half ended Pembroke 1-1 Marsa.

The second half was fairly balanced like the first half was with most of the possession of the ball taking place in the midfield.

In the 46th Minute Pembroke won a corner, Shana Debono delivered the corner towards the centre of the penalty area but Marsa`s defence were able to clear the ball without much difficulty.

Approaching the 63rd minute Pembroke tried to take the lead with a good counter attack but striker LeeAnne Wood was caught in an offside position.

In the 67th minute Pembroke were awarded another corner but once again the well delivered corner had no say as Marsa`s defenders got on the ball before Pembroke`s players.

In the 72nd minute Lilian Cremona tried to give Pembroke the lead with a very well directed shot which unfortunately ended just from the left goalpost.

In the very last minute of the match Pembroke were awarded a direct Free kick from just outside Marsa`s penalty area. Free kick specialist Shana Debono studied well the situation, a took a well placed shot, which ended in the back of the net to give Pembroke a dramatic last minute 2-1 win over Marsa.
