As part of the fund raising in aid of "Dar tal-Providenza", Charles Borg - a parent of a student attending the Lyceum in Hamrun and coach of Pembroke Athleta organised a women's 5-a-side football tournament at the synthetic pitch at the Lyceum in Hamrun.

Six teams took part namely:

• Birkirkara,
• Hamrun Spartans,
• Melita,
• St. Venera
• two teams from Pembroke Athleta.
  

The Lyceum in Hamrun is currently holding the annual Bicycle Marathon in aid of Dar tal-Providenza between Friday 27 and Sunday 29th March at the Lyceum. The organisers objective is to raise funds in order to complete a project at Dar tal-Providenza in Siggiewi consisting of building and refurbishing.
